Major parts of the world lie undeveloped and in poverty. Starvation in our world is very common in the present generation and the hope of many seeing the blessings of God that we speak of is very slim. In half of the world, it is a fact, that poverty and ignorance thrives, Satan the adversary rule and mock many believers. Economic development in the present generation is not a matter of choice to the body of Christ. We must aggressively engage in economically developing believers in their communities, regions and nations to deal with poverty. The Committee for Economics and Development is charged to work with the body of Christ around the world to find new ways by liaising with the Research & Training Department in finding sources of capital financing and training to guarantee that the world resources are tapped and develop for the glory of God.
